Learning Management System with compatible Game Board / Junior Design Project 2019

Problem

Engineering Junior Design Project is based upon addressing the global challenge of making STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art & Mathematics) more appealing to students and easily deployable for educators

Team

Our team was comprised of students from the Interdisciplinary Engineering (BSEN) Program at Wentworth Institute of Technology giving the team a unique advantage of efficiently creating solutions to STEM/STEAM Education. Jasmine Andrade, a Manufacturing engineer minoring in Industrial Design was the Product Manager focusing on Product Design including Game Board Design and User Experience.

ROLE

My role as the Product Manager included overseeing the project and ensuring the team met all deadlines. I also developed the storyboard, product video, website, and Game Card Design. I assisted with the concept generation for the game board design, developing the code for the Arduino, Raspberry PI, and Processing UI for the game prototype. I also developed the test protocol utilized in testing all hardware and software concepts of the game board.
